The Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office is seeking the death penalty in the Dominique Moody case. Tonya McKnight is facing charges related to the death of 6-year-old Dominique Moody. Moody died last December in what investigators described as a rat and roach infested home on Gwynne Hill Road.
McKnight was listed as one of Moody’s guardians, according to court documents. WCCB has reached out to DA Spencer Merriweather for comment.
