The Salvation Army Silver Bells program provides essential support to low-income seniors aged 62 and older who are experiencing financial hardship within our community. Similar to the Angel Tree program for children, Silver Bells directly addresses the needs of older adults by connecting them with generous community donors. Donors participate by “adopting” a senior and providing a $50 gift card β no shopping, worrying about wish lists, or clothes sizes!
Through this vital program, The Salvation Army supports approximately 1,500 seniors each year, allowing recipients to purchase necessary items like groceries, personal hygiene products, or household supplies tailored to their most pressing needs.
