Wilson’s World: Inside the Research & Development Kitchens at Bojangles’

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson loves Bojangles’.  This morning he was behind the scenes in the kitchens of their Research and Development Department to find out just what they research and develop.  He also is taking the credit for the return of the Bo-Tato Breakfast Bowl to their menu for a limited time.

One of the things that new employees always learn at Bojangles’ R&D is how to make the perfect fresh made biscuit and prepare their great tasting chicken.  Bojangles’ even holds a “Master Biscuit Maker” contest each year for employees.  Winners get bragging rights and also a cash prize.

Clifton Rutledge President & CEO of  Bojangles’ joined Wilson to talk about how Bojangles’ is not only a family restaurant, but a restaurant that is a family.

Thanks to all of the hard work of the Bojangles’ family with all of the events they have held this year and all of their great customers, Bojangles was able to donate a large check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the amount of $1 million dollars.
