Panthers Players Join NFL Protest Conversation
CHARLOTTE, NC — Panthers players joined the protest conversation during Wednesday’s news conference.
On Sunday, the Panthers, except Julius Peppers, did not react to the controversy, but say they were still very much affected. Some of the players even met with Panthers owner Jerry Richardson in the following days to voice their opinions about joining the NFL protest.
Richardson told the players that want to participate that they would have his full support if they did so. On Wednesday, Cam said he just wants to spread the message of unity.
