CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Panthers have claimed former Green Bay Packers cornerback LaDarius Gunter from waivers.
To make room for Gunter, the Panthers released kicker Harrison Butker, who they drafted in the seventh round of this year’s draft.
Gunter was waived by Green Bay on Tuesday. He started 15 games for the Packers in 2016 recording 58 tackles and 15 passes defended.
The third year pro played collegiately at Miami and made the Green Bay roster as an undrafted free agent in 2015.
