CMPD Still Looking For Suspect In 2016 West Boulevard Homicide

UPDATE: CMPD has identified the suspect wanted in the November 2016 murder of Deon Davis.

According to investigators, Jadarius Irving McCall, 26, is wanted in connection to the shooting death of Davis on West Boulevard on November 11.

Police say McCall is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.

CHARLOTTE, N.C — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating the shooting death of a man that took place in the 2800 block of West Boulevard early Saturday morning.

CMPD responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at 2:29 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered, 33-year old, Deon Davis inside a vehicle in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.

Mr. Davis was pronounced dead on the scene by the medic.

During the investigation, police were approached by a woman who stated that she was on the car with Mr. Davis and had been shot in the hand.  She was transported to Carolinas Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives are searching the neighborhood for any other witnesses to the crime.
