Flight From Charlotte To Hartford Makes Emergency Landing In Raleigh-Durham

CHARLOTTE, NC — A flight traveling from Charlotte to Hartford was forced to make an emergency landing in Raleigh-Durham Friday afternoon.

According to American Airlines, flight 1889 was diverted due to an odor in the cockpit. Officials say the plane landed safely around 5pm, and three crew members were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Maintenance crews are checking out the Airbus 320, officials say. American Airlines says they will get passengers on their way as soon as possible.
