CMPD Looking For Suspects In Alleged East Charlotte Rape, Robbery

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are looking for two suspects they say allegedly broke into a woman’s apartment and sexually assaulted and robbed her late Thursday night.

The incident happened around 11pm, according to reports, at an apartment on New Hampshire Drive in east Charlotte. Police say the two suspects pried their way into the apartment, restrained and then sexually assaulted the victim. Officials say the suspects then took several items before taking off.

According to reports, the victim did not know the suspect. She was taken to CMC for treatment.
