A shooting was reported around 5:45am on Jones Street in west Charlotte, according to officials, but officers were unable to locate a victim when they arrived.
A short time later, officials say staff at CMC reported a victim that had driven themselves to the ER with a gunshot wound to the head. Officials say the wound was non-life threatening.
