Forest Hills Student Facing Charges After Bringing Knives, Hit List To School

MARSHVILLE, NC — Officials are charging the Union County teen who brought a hit list and knives to school last Tuesday.

The Forest Hills High School student will be charged with Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction and Possession of a Weapon on Educational Property once he is released from counseling. The teen was arrested last Tuesday after local authorities received a tip from Canadian law enforcement.

Officials came across a discussion in an online chat room where the student talked about stabbing classmates at the school.
