Five People Charged In Lincoln County Undercover Drug Operation

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Five people are facing several drug charges in Lincoln County following an investigation targeting the sale and delivery of meth, pain pills, cocaine and marijuana.

Investigators say surveillance and undercover techniques were used to purchase drugs from five individuals in the community.  Here is a list of their names and charges:

Kevin Alejandro Rodriguez, 24, Lincolnton, NC was charged with one felony count each of Trafficking Schedule II Controlled Substance by Sell (opioids), Trafficking Schedule II Controlled Substance by Deliver, Trafficking Schedule II Controlled Substance by Transport, Trafficking Schedule II Controlled Substance by Possession, and Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (cocaine). He was also charged with two felony counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. He received a $50,000 secured bond.

Sierra Miranda Gomez, 20, Lincolnton, NC was charged with two felony counts each of Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. She was also charged with one felony count each of Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Conspire to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Conspire to Sell and Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance. She received a $20,000 secured bond.

Dana Rochelle Gomez, 44, Lincolnton, NC was charged with one felony count each of Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance (opioids) and Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. She received a $7,500 secured bond.

The two people below have been charged but are still wanted:

Austin Shane McCutcheon, 18, Denver, NC is facing one felony count of Conspiring to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. McCutcheon is currently in jail under unrelated charges and will be served the additional warrants.

Justin Tyler Garrett, 34, Cherryville, NC is facing one felony count of Conspiring to Sell and Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and one misdemeanor count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and has not been located.
