Heavy Rains Flood Founders Park At USC, Doesn’t Drown The Staff’s Sense Of Humor

COLUMBIA, SC — One USC baseball staffer joked that Founders Park had become “Founders Lake” after severe weather brought heavy rainfall to the Columbia area Wednesday, flooding the Gamecocks’ baseball stadium.

USC baseball staffers tweeted out several photos showing parts of Founders Park underwater, but they didn’t let the rains drown out their sense of humor for the situation.

Despite the wet conditions, the South Carolina Gamecocks say they will be ready to host the Vanderbilt Commodores beginning Thursday night.
