Police Charge Teen In Connection To The 2016 Murder Of Sandy Le

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has charged an 18-year-old for his involvement with the murder of Sandy Le back in August 2016.

Felipe Ulloa was arrested Wednesday and charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder, according to police. CMPD says investigators determined Ulloa was involved with the case and issued warrants for his arrest, but have not released any specifics.

Investigators found Le’s body in a wooded area of Cabarrus County about a week after she was reported missing in August 2016. An autopsy showed Le died after being shot in the head.

Investigators established Ahmia Feaster and her boyfriend Alexandro Castillo as the primary suspects in the case. Both Feaster and Castillo worked with Le at a Showmars restaurant. According to reports, Castillo allegedly killed Le, stole her car, and then fled to Mexico with Feaster.

In October, Ahmeia Feaster was arrested after turning herself in to the Houston Texas Police Department. Feaster was extradited back to Mecklenburg County on charges of Accessory After the Fact of Murder and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. She was released on bond in January while she awaits trial in the case.

Detectives say Alexandro Castillo is still wanted for Murder and is believed to be hiding out in Mexico. Castillo is considered to be armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 704-672-6100.

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600 or CMPD Homicide Detective Rooks at 704-432-TIPS.
