Harrisburg Railroad Worker Lifted To Safety Following On-Job Accident

HARRISBURG, N.C. — A railroad worker in Harrisburg had to be lifted to safety following an accident on the job.

According to the Harrisburg Fire Department, a man was installing trestles on the railway extension project when his foot got caught under some equipment.

Coworkers came to the man’s aid and freed his leg from the equipment but, due to his injuries and the terrain, Harrisburg Fire used a ladder to lift the worker to safety.
