Panthers Bring Peppers Back To Carolina

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have finalized a deal to bring Julius Peppers back to Charlotte.

The terms of the contract have not been released, but the 37-year-old Peppers will likely retire as a Carolina Panther.

Peppers agent, Carl Carey sent out this tweet Friday Morning.

Carolina selected Peppers with the second pick in the 2002 draft. He played eight seasons with Carolina before joining the Chicago Bears. He most recently spent three seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

He holds the Panthers’ franchise record for career sacks (81), forced fumbles (30), and longest interception return (97 yards).
