According to reports, on February 3rd, Keiyenne Hijin, aka Geoffrey Roberson, had been working out inside a Planet Fitness on Jake Alexander Boulevard for over an hour when a witness reported a toddler left inside his car. Responding officers found a 20-month-old strapped into a car seat in the back of the car crying. According to reports, the vehicle was unlocked, the window was cracked, and the keys were in the ignition.
Hijin was found inside the gym that day, but police say he wasn’t arrested or charged at the time. A warrant was later issued by the Department of Social Services, which charged him with Misdemeanor Child Abuse.
Anyone with information on Hijin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Salisbury Police at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 866-639-5245.
