Wilson’s World: Wilson Dons His “Space Pants” to Preview the Run 4 Reading Race

ROCK HILL, S.C. –  It was an interesting morning after Wilson arrived at Winthrop University in his Park Chevy Tahoe.  He was dressed in his best “space pants” to join students and volunteers who are participating in this weekend’s Run 4 Reading Race.

The Run 4 Reading Race is the signature fund raising event for the Early Learning Partnership of York County.

There is a run for every age and runner.  Event includes the challenge run, a junior challenge run (for 14 and under only) , a casual run and a book relay.  Each of the runs include consuming great Krispy Kreme doughnuts, though some less than others.  There is also an opportunity for the sleep in supporter to be a part of the race with a tee shirt purchase only.    The 4 mile challenge run begins in downtown Rock Hill and finishes on the campus of Winthrop University.  Find out more about all of the the races and how to register HERE.

The Early Learning Partnership of York County, is a nonprofit organization established to develop and promote programs that support school readiness of children ages five and under in York County, South Carolina.  Find out more about the program and how you can help at their website elpofyorkcounty.org.
