Wilson’s World: Previewing the 5th Annual RunJenRun 5k at Reids Find Foods in SouthPark
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at Reid’s Fine Foods in SouthPark where he was previewing the upcoming 5th Annual RunJenRun 5k on Saturday, March 11th. The 5k will take place at the beautiful Symphony Park in SouthPark. All proceeds will benefit the GoJenGo Foundation, a community of caring people brought together for the common purpose of assisting people in their fight against breast cancer.
Joe Pagani joined Wilson to talk about the foundation and the event. The GoJenGo Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides emotional and financial support for individuals and families who are battling breast cancer and to individuals diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. They provide aid and support during diagnosis treatment and recovery. They also provide financial support to charitable organizations that offer resources and programs aimed at assisting these individuals
The RunJenRun 5k is not only a run, but is a fun family event with a boot camp obstacle course, corn horn games, a bouncy house and face painting for the kids as well as plenty of food. New this year is a boot camp bounce house and Knockerball. Favorite local mascots will stop by.
And while he was with Joe, Wilson presented Joe his first “Moment of Good” for 2017 for all of the work he has put into the GoJenGo Foundation and their fundraising events.
Reid’s Fine Foods is a sponsor of the RunJenRun 5k. Their SouthPark location has been opened about 14 months and focuses on local foods.
