Wilson’s World: Behind the Scenes at the Headquarters of Ringling Bros. Circus

PALMETTO, FL –  Wilson goes on the road to Palmetto, Florida this morning to the headquarters of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus to see how this amazing show is put together.

From the costume warehouse to the the scenic studio where the great ideas come to life, Wilson was taking us to the heart of the circus where it all begins.  We saw some of the beautiful handmade costumes that are created to fit the smallest entertainer to the largest elephant.  Inside the scenic studio we get an in depth look at some of the vintage circus floats from over 30 years ago.  These detailed floats were made by hand and could have taken as long as 500 hours to complete.

After entertaining kids of all ages for almost 150 years, The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus will be closing after their tour this season.  Fans should make sure to attend their final appearance in Charlotte next week.  The circus’ final performances will be at Spectrum Center beginning Wednesday, February 1st through Sunday, February 5th.  For information on performance schedules and ticket prices go to their link HERE.
