Stephen Curry Honored by Charlotte Christian High School, Davidson College

Warriors guard Stephen Curry was a busy man during his off day in Charlotte. He was honored this evening by both Charlotte Christian High School and Davidson College.

Curry started the evening with his jersey being retired at Charlotte Christian. He led the Knights to three appearances in the state playoffs. After that ceremony concluded, the two-time NBA MVP drove to Davidson for the dedication of the student section in his honor. It is now called “Section 30”, referencing the jersey he number he wore during his time as a Wildcat. Curry is Davidson’s all-time leading scorer.

Curry and the Warriors will face off against the Hornets Wednesday night at 8:00 pm.
