49ers Hoops: Price set to coach son in 2016-17

CHARLOTTE, NC (WCCB Charlotte) — Mark Price will have  another new challenge when he begins his second season as 49ers head coach.

He will get to coach his son, Hudson.

Hudson Price transferred to Charlotte from TCU last year and subsequently sat out a year due to transfer rules. It worked well with Hudson’s time-table as he needed to get healthy from a knee injury.  Hudson Price saw action in 53 games with eight starts over two seasons at TCU. His best game was a 14-point effort against Radford during the 2014-15 season.

“We’re excited to have Hudson,” Mark Price said. “He’s a good player, a versatile player with good size. He can play multiple positions for us. He’s a team-first player and we are excited to have him.”

Charlotte will get a chance to practice ten times this summer before the team takes a summer trip to play three games in Vancouver.
